You can take a bus from the main town to the hills of Panchgani. Both Volvo buses as well as State buses are available and it takes about 4 to 5 hours maximum, to reach one’s destination. 

By train 

Satara is the nearest railway station to Panchgani since this town does not have one of its own. However, the railway station of Satara is about 30 to 40 km away from Panchgani. From here you need to get a rental taxi, book a cab or a bus for the rest of the journey. 

By car

By car
