If memory recall correctly, there was only one place where I realised I wanted to be a Rani (Queen), and this was when I was visiting Rajasthan for the first time. While the Kings and Queens do not remain (and neither does the violence, thankfully), there still remains the art, beauty and elegance in this luxury Lodge. Coming straight out of a novel, the lodge is created with the Rajasthani architectural style that I definitely wished I had a chance to run in the lodge with a full Rajasthani outfit on, in the most dramatic fashion I could conjure.
This lodge is refined and luxurious, so much so that even staying here will make you feel royal. For me, this feeling of being a royal definitely wins against the feeling I get after I wear a crown at Burger King. The design and architectural style is not the only reason why you will feel like a royal. You can owe that feeling also to the way the staff treats you as a guest. Being extremely kind and helpful, the services provided will only enhance your stay here. I know it sounds like a palace at this point, but this lodge is nothing less than a grand palace. Since not many of us have the sources to visit a palace, this beautiful luxury lodge will more than satiate our wishes to ever visit one with its colonial touches and fine design.
The lodge doesn’t even need to be romanticised because of how perfect it already looks. It also provides the perfect environment for a romantic time and wholesome time for couples and families both. The entire experience of being here could rejuvenate you with its cultural beauty.
Since it serves luxury style architecture and service, the food and amenities offered don’t fall short either. The lodge is equipped with a spa centre ready for guests to rejuvenate and pamper themselves and offers the fun options of a swimming pool and board games to spend a good time with family and friends. All in all, this location comes full circle with the traditional food it offers to the guests that satisfies the taste buds to the fullest. As a reader myself, the bookshop in the location was the best surprise because it allowed me to purchase books to read and lounge away in a luxury hotel that peaked my level of comfort and regality.
One however does not need to lose themselves in books to feel regal, they just need to visit the lodge! Even existing royalty (peep Harry and Meghan), would feel all the more royal in such a place. Perhaps that is pushing it a bit far but as a simpleton myself, I have never felt more royal before than on the grounds of this beautiful lodge.
